38 LSB is a Citizens Band (CB) radio channel that uses lower sideband (LSB).


Explanation: LSB is a range of frequencies below 27.185 MHz on a CB radio. Channel 38 is

 one of the channels that use LSB SSB operation.


Calling channels: Channels 36 and 38 are unofficial SSB "calling channels" that stations use to find contacts. After making contact, conversations move to channels 37–40.


AM-only radios: CBers with AM-only radios should not use channels 36–40.
